Busy

Posted on: February 17, 2009

Been a litle busy since last weekend. I just had time to catch up with last week’s Burn Notice and Monk. Michael was still in the quest to find the person who wanted him dead, he didn’t get any info, but that guy (whoever he was) was alarmed when Mike was trying to poke around. I also just watched this week’s Chuck, where Chuck and Sarah had to pose as a married couple. Pretty funny, but in the end their relationship got a minor set back. Just in case you wonder where I watch the shows (no I don’t watch them from DVR), I watch them online at the network’s official website: NBC.com and USANetwork.com

On other news, Hulu Award will have official nominees for all categories hopefully by next week. I’ll post the list of all nominees (or perhaps the poll link from polldaddy) so you can vote 🙂 Speaking of polldaddy, I’ve had some ideas for poll on by blog for a while (before wordpress had the feature). Now that they have it, I can’t remember what I wanted to do with the poll 😆

The new episode of the latest season of The Amazing Race just aired today at CBS. As usual there are 12 teams of two, some siblings, some couples, some close friends. Click here to see the full cast of this season’s Amazing Race.

So first destination is Switzerland, which by the way is very beautiful. The first challenge was a road block, where one person from each team had to bungee jump (2nd highest in the world) on a dam. The second task was to carry 200 lbs of cheese down the hill, sounds easy, but believe me, it wasn’t easy at all. Well, if you miss this episode or want to watch again, go to cbs.com to watch it online.

Continuing the Hulu Award Nomination, this week is the last week that we are going to have new categories. 4-5. Best Clip (Comedy) & Best Clip (non-Comedy). For these categories, we don’t have an official list of eligible nominees, so it’s up to you and me to choose proposed nominees. If you know of any clip on Hulu that deserves some recognition, just post the name of the clip in the comments section. With a large number of clips on hulu, you can just search your memory banks or click here for comedy and here for non-comedy. By the way, clips of TV shows can also be nominated.

Okay, that’s the newest and last categories on Hulu Award. Next week, we are narrowing down the proposed nominees from all categories. Also, you can also still nominate from last week (and the week before)’s categories. Just go down a couple posts, or you can click on hulu-award tag, or you can vote at TheHuluReview.blogspot.com. Each category is conveniently listed in the upper right corner of the main page. Happy voting/commenting 😀

There are 3 new and 2 old categories this week and they are: Best Sci-Fi Movie, Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Series, Best Video Games Coverage, Worst Movie, and Worst TV Series. For science fiction, fantasy, and video game lovers (like me!), I’m sure you’ll have your opinions on which SciFi/Fantasy movie or TV show that you think deserve an award. It might be tough to pick just one, but don’t worry you can nominate more than one. The comments are yours for taking 🙂 So here it goes:

4. Worst Movie and Worst Scripted TV Series. These are two separate categories, but the eligible candidates are the same from the eligible nominees from the Best Movie and TV shows from all genres. If I copy paste all of them this post will be very very long. Instead, if you really want to see the nominees, follow these links: Action, Classic, Family & Cartoon, Drama, Comedy, Horror, and Sci-Fi/Fantasy. Or, you can just simply nominate anything you want, and if they’re eligible, I’ll take your input into account.

You can nominate any movie/series you want, as many as you wish. If you never heard of any of them and interested in watching it, you can always borrow or rent the DVD, or to watch it for free, go to Hulu.com and search for the title, just make sure that it belongs to the right category. Again, if you cannot watch Hulu (I understand that Hulu currently is only available in US), you can still nominate any of these shows if you happen to know and like any of them.

PS: I know that not maybe none of your favorite shows/movies is listed above, but if you just happen to know or like a little, you can nominate them. Since this is a Hulu Award, we can only nominate shows that are available on Hulu. But then again, you can always comment and nominate whatever show you want 🙂 I’d love to hear what shows/movies you like. Happy commenting 😀
