Just finished watching yesterday’s Burn Notice online, for those of you who wanted to watch it online too, go to www.usanetwork.com/series/burnnotice. I just realized that since it’s back on TV, I haven’t blogged anything about Burn Notice. I used to do it faithfully every week. Well, hopefully I’ll remember to write Burn Notice post every week again from now on.

Anyways, Michael’s side job this week was to help Claude, a father who wanted to seek justice for his daughter. Jean Pierre Duman, the culprit, was a fugitive from Haiti; he lived under an alias in Miami. Michael planned to get the documents from Duman to uncover the truth. The plan didn’t work though, because Duman’s father suspected Michael. Since plan A didn’t work, Mike and friends used plan B, to kidnap Duman. And who could kidnap a spoiled rich guy better than Fiona? The plan worked well, and Duman was shipped back to Haiti to face his trial.

Other than the side job, Michael found out the guy who tried to kill him. It was Victor, the guy who Michael (was forced to work with by Carla. He’s also a burned spy, and their mission was to steal a pimped riffle (episode 206). Victor managed to get away from Michael, but the question remains why? My guess is that Victor doesn’t want Michael around for either of these reasons: a) Michael is too dangerous, and he doesn’t want him to work for Carla. b) Michael is too dangerous, and he doesn’t want to compete with him. I know my guesses are pretty lame, we’ll find out what’s really going on next week šŸ™‚ Don’t forget to watch Burn Notice every Thursday 10 pm EST at USA Network OR you can watch the latest episodes online at usanetwork.com.

Busy

Posted on: February 17, 2009

Been a litle busy since last weekend. I just had time to catch up with last week’s Burn NoticeĀ and Monk. Michael was still in the quest to find the person who wanted him dead, he didn’t get any info, but that guy (whoever he was) was alarmed when Mike was trying to poke around. I also just watched this week’s Chuck, where Chuck and Sarah had to pose as a married couple. Pretty funny, but in the end their relationship got a minor set back. Just in case you wonder where I watch the shows (no I don’t watch them from DVR), I watch them online at the network’s official website: NBC.com and USANetwork.com

On other news, Hulu Award will have official nominees for all categories hopefully by next week. I’ll post the list of all nominees (or perhaps the poll link from polldaddy) so you can vote šŸ™‚ Speaking of polldaddy, I’ve had some ideas for poll on by blog for a while (before wordpress had the feature). Now that they have it, I can’t remember what I wanted to do with the poll šŸ˜†

Just a friendly reminder for Survivor and Amazing Race fans, starting this week, new seasons of the shows will kick off on CBS. The premier episode of Survivor will air on Feb 12 at its usual time 8 pm EST, and Amazing Race on Feb 15 at 8 pm EST. I’m not really a big fan of survivor, but I’m gonna watch Amazing Race for sure šŸ™‚

Tonight on Crusoe, everything was revealed. Why Jeremiah Blackthrone did what he did to Crusoe, and Crusoe finally found out the truth. Apparently, Jeremiah was Crusoe’s uncle. Crusoe’s father was actually William Blackthrone who was the sole heir of Blackthrone’s fortune. If the secret leaked out, all Blackthrone’s would be Crusoe’s and even if Crusoe died, all the fortune would go to Crusoe’s kids.

Jeremiah came to the island to finish Crusoe off, then went back to England and adopt Crusoe’s kids and just made sure that they didn’t live up to age to claim their rights. Good (and cunning) plan, and meanwhile Jeremiah sent out a group assasins to kill Friday and Crusoe, he and Crusoe’s brother in law went to Crusoe’s treehouse to search for the piece of paper that hold the truth. Frustrated because he couldn’t find it, Jeremiah burnt the treehouse down.

Luckily, rain fell down and there were some remains of the house. Crusoe found his bible and the hidden piece of paper. He tried to traded it with his (and Friday’s) freedom from the island. Jeremiah tricked Crusoe, he still wanted to kill Friday. Crusoe fought for it, and jumped down to the sea with Friday. So they were left in the island again. However, Jeremiah didn’t get his wish too, there was actually a sick man on the ship, and the disease was contageous. The whole ship wouldn’t make it back to England.

So Crusoe and Friday were still on the island, but sooner or later, Olivia (and perhaps with Suzannah and her kids) would come to the island to reunite or rescue Crusoe off the island. I haven’t read the book so I don’t know how the story ends on the novel. However, as for Crusoe the series, this episode is the finale. If you miss tonight’s episode, you can always catch up at nbc.com/crusoe or hulu.com/crusoe.

Just watched Howie Do It, was funny, even though there was one prank that had been used before (funny bunny the singing telegram). My favorite prank for today was the Surprise Patrol, so hillarious, and the guy’s slowness made it even funnier! If you missed it, go watch it at nbc.com/howie-do-it, tonight’s episodes should be uploaded by tomorrow.

Speaking of NBC, tomorrow is the finale for Crusoe. So if you’ve been following Crusoe since the first episode (like me), tomorrow we’ll see Crusoe returning to England and all secrets would be revealed. I haven’t read the novel yet, but I’m curious whether Friday will come with Crusoe to England, and what will happen to him. Tune in tomorrow Saturday, 8 pm EST for the last episode of Crusoe!

This week’s episode this the 2nd to last episode. Next week will be Crusoe Finale, where he will finally return to England. As always, before the climax, the story becomes complicated.

Crusoe and Friday heard a banging sound and when they went to check it out, they found an English ship on the sea. The ship was sailingĀ far from the shoreĀ though because they thought the crews (on small boat) crashed and drowned when trying to reach the shore. Crusoe and Friday rescued one of the men who survived, and Crusoe knew him. But alas, he wasn’t exactly a good guy. When following Crusoe’s flashbacks and seeing what’s going on in England, everyone was trying to erase Crusoe’ s existance. Also on the Ship: Crusoe’s brother in law. I bet their intention to come to this island was not to rescue Crusoe but to eliminate him.

Anyways, Crusoe was so happy to meet this bloke – his godfather –Ā because he thought he was on the rescue mission to search for him. This fella, Jeremiah Black-something, just like any other people, thought Friday was Crusoe’s slave and didn’t want to believe otherwise. Friday, of course, didn’t like him, and he was right. That guy lied to Crusoe about what happened to Suzannah.Ā Friday reminded Crusoe that he couldn’t put his trust on this bloke, but Crusoe didn’t bother. Crusoe believed that people on the ship would send out a rescue team to search for Jeremiah, and this thought was enough to fool Crusoe.

After that bloke met up with his guys from the main ship, he ordered his crews to kill Friday first šŸ˜” and after that…. to be continued!

Olivia (the pirate girl) wasn’t helping either. She came back to England and rescuedĀ Suzannah (who was a wreck) but sheĀ wasn’t being very honest eitherĀ – she had a feeling for Crusoe afterall. But Suzannah found out the ill-actions that her brother had done so far to her and her family.

I think at this point, the whole Crusoe story is coming together – just like the book. Anyways, don’t miss next week’s episode, where all the betrayals would be revealed, and Crusoe will reunite with his wife šŸ™‚Ā The Crusoe Finale will air on Saturday, January 31 at 8 pm EST on NBC.

Tonight onĀ  Crusoe,Ā  the story doesn’t make much sense if you think about it, but if you aren’t too critical, the story is pretty good. The pirate captain who were supposed to be dead (from 1st episode) was actually alive and became a little loony. HeĀ found Crusoe and Friday who were trying to raise a flag to attract rescue ship. He chased them out and attacked them on their tree house with a toxic bomb. Crusoe fell down and the loony captain captured Friday to be his slave. He claimed to be the king of the island and wanted to build an island.

Crusoe, led by his hallucination (he was hallucinating that Suzanna, his wife) to go to the cave where the crazy captain lived. Friday found him and gave him the antidote for the toxin. But later the crazy captain found Crusoe still alive and sentenced Crusoe to be hung until death. Once they found opening, Crusoe and Friday attacked that crazy captain, and in the end the crazy captain died from gun powder explosion on his “throne room.”

It’s pretty nice to see Crusoe reunited with his wife, even though it’s only hallucination. In the end of the episode, they also showed that his wife was still waiting for Crusoe back in England. Three more episode and Crusoe is back to England. Don’t forget next week’s episode! šŸ™‚
