This week on Burn Notice, shocking news to everyone: Michael had a fiancee. Samantha showed up at Michael’s house asking Michael for help. She was forced by a black market trader to steal a government chips in order to get her son back. Even though, Sam assured Michael that the boy wasn’t his, he still wanted to help her. So they worked together to trick the guy to give up the chip and returned it to where it was so that Sam was safe from FBI, NSA, and many other government agents.

Sam’s showing up stir up some drama for Michael. The other Sam didn’t have any opinion, but Michael’s mom and Fiona weren’t too happy with the fact that Michael never told about being enganged. Anyways, Sam cleared up the situation by saying that it was she that proposed to Michael, and Michael confessed that he left Sam because he was in love with Fiona.

On other thing, Victor contacted Michael and they agreed to meet. Victor only wanted to be friends on his term, they disagreed and Michael knocked him down. Now he has big choices to be made: make Victor his friends on mutual term, or turn Victor in to Carla in exchange for his freedom. I think Michael would choose the first choice, but we shall see what he’ll do next week. Speaking of next week, I believe next week’s episode will be the finale of the 2nd season, so it’s gonna be good. Mark your calendar March 5, 10 pm EST on USA network for the finale.

Tonight on Crusoe, everything was revealed. Why Jeremiah Blackthrone did what he did to Crusoe, and Crusoe finally found out the truth. Apparently, Jeremiah was Crusoe’s uncle. Crusoe’s father was actually William Blackthrone who was the sole heir of Blackthrone’s fortune. If the secret leaked out, all Blackthrone’s would be Crusoe’s and even if Crusoe died, all the fortune would go to Crusoe’s kids.

Jeremiah came to the island to finish Crusoe off, then went back to England and adopt Crusoe’s kids and just made sure that they didn’t live up to age to claim their rights. Good (and cunning) plan, and meanwhile Jeremiah sent out a group assasins to kill Friday and Crusoe, he and Crusoe’s brother in law went to Crusoe’s treehouse to search for the piece of paper that hold the truth. Frustrated because he couldn’t find it, Jeremiah burnt the treehouse down.

Luckily, rain fell down and there were some remains of the house. Crusoe found his bible and the hidden piece of paper. He tried to traded it with his (and Friday’s) freedom from the island. Jeremiah tricked Crusoe, he still wanted to kill Friday. Crusoe fought for it, and jumped down to the sea with Friday. So they were left in the island again. However, Jeremiah didn’t get his wish too, there was actually a sick man on the ship, and the disease was contageous. The whole ship wouldn’t make it back to England.

So Crusoe and Friday were still on the island, but sooner or later, Olivia (and perhaps with Suzannah and her kids) would come to the island to reunite or rescue Crusoe off the island. I haven’t read the book so I don’t know how the story ends on the novel. However, as for Crusoe the series, this episode is the finale. If you miss tonight’s episode, you can always catch up at nbc.com/crusoe or hulu.com/crusoe.

This week’s episode this the 2nd to last episode. Next week will be Crusoe Finale, where he will finally return to England. As always, before the climax, the story becomes complicated.

Crusoe and Friday heard a banging sound and when they went to check it out, they found an English ship on the sea. The ship was sailing far from the shore though because they thought the crews (on small boat) crashed and drowned when trying to reach the shore. Crusoe and Friday rescued one of the men who survived, and Crusoe knew him. But alas, he wasn’t exactly a good guy. When following Crusoe’s flashbacks and seeing what’s going on in England, everyone was trying to erase Crusoe’ s existance. Also on the Ship: Crusoe’s brother in law. I bet their intention to come to this island was not to rescue Crusoe but to eliminate him.

Anyways, Crusoe was so happy to meet this bloke – his godfather – because he thought he was on the rescue mission to search for him. This fella, Jeremiah Black-something, just like any other people, thought Friday was Crusoe’s slave and didn’t want to believe otherwise. Friday, of course, didn’t like him, and he was right. That guy lied to Crusoe about what happened to Suzannah. Friday reminded Crusoe that he couldn’t put his trust on this bloke, but Crusoe didn’t bother. Crusoe believed that people on the ship would send out a rescue team to search for Jeremiah, and this thought was enough to fool Crusoe.

After that bloke met up with his guys from the main ship, he ordered his crews to kill Friday first 😡 and after that…. to be continued!

Olivia (the pirate girl) wasn’t helping either. She came back to England and rescued Suzannah (who was a wreck) but she wasn’t being very honest either – she had a feeling for Crusoe afterall. But Suzannah found out the ill-actions that her brother had done so far to her and her family.

I think at this point, the whole Crusoe story is coming together – just like the book. Anyways, don’t miss next week’s episode, where all the betrayals would be revealed, and Crusoe will reunite with his wife 🙂 The Crusoe Finale will air on Saturday, January 31 at 8 pm EST on NBC.

This week on Crusoe, Crusoe was hunted by a tribe because the chief thought that Crusoe was enslaving Friday. Crusoe was captured but regardless what he said and what Friday said, the chief didn’t believe them. The Chief ordered them to fight each other until one of them died or they would be killed. Having no choice, Crusoe and Friday pretended to fight and when they had a chance, they took the chief hostage and ran away. The battle between them and the tribe members was inevitable.

Oh one more thing, Friday had a fling in this episode with one of the girl warrior from the tribe. Heh, it’s gonna be a nice little sub-plot.

4. Worst Movie and Worst Scripted TV Series. These are two separate categories, but the eligible candidates are the same from the eligible nominees from the Best Movie and TV shows from all genres. If I copy paste all of them this post will be very very long. Instead, if you really want to see the nominees, follow these links: Action, Classic, Family & Cartoon, Drama, Comedy, Horror, and Sci-Fi/Fantasy. Or, you can just simply nominate anything you want, and if they’re eligible, I’ll take your input into account.

You can nominate any movie/series you want, as many as you wish. If you never heard of any of them and interested in watching it, you can always borrow or rent the DVD, or to watch it for free, go to Hulu.com and search for the title, just make sure that it belongs to the right category. Again, if you cannot watch Hulu (I understand that Hulu currently is only available in US), you can still nominate any of these shows if you happen to know and like any of them.

PS: I know that not maybe none of your favorite shows/movies is listed above, but if you just happen to know or like a little, you can nominate them. Since this is a Hulu Award, we can only nominate shows that are available on Hulu. But then again, you can always comment and nominate whatever show you want 🙂 I’d love to hear what shows/movies you like. Happy commenting 😀

Tonight on  Crusoe,  the story doesn’t make much sense if you think about it, but if you aren’t too critical, the story is pretty good. The pirate captain who were supposed to be dead (from 1st episode) was actually alive and became a little loony. He found Crusoe and Friday who were trying to raise a flag to attract rescue ship. He chased them out and attacked them on their tree house with a toxic bomb. Crusoe fell down and the loony captain captured Friday to be his slave. He claimed to be the king of the island and wanted to build an island.

Crusoe, led by his hallucination (he was hallucinating that Suzanna, his wife) to go to the cave where the crazy captain lived. Friday found him and gave him the antidote for the toxin. But later the crazy captain found Crusoe still alive and sentenced Crusoe to be hung until death. Once they found opening, Crusoe and Friday attacked that crazy captain, and in the end the crazy captain died from gun powder explosion on his “throne room.”

It’s pretty nice to see Crusoe reunited with his wife, even though it’s only hallucination. In the end of the episode, they also showed that his wife was still waiting for Crusoe back in England. Three more episode and Crusoe is back to England. Don’t forget next week’s episode! 🙂

So I tuned in to NBC at 10 pm EST because it was a habit (of watching My Own Worst Enemy) and there was a new “looking-for-love” type of show: Momma’s Boy. This one is quite funny tho, and not too much cat-fight and bitching (because the mothers are staying with the girls). There are 3 guys who claim that they are momma’s boys and they bring along their moms to find their love. But as always, to add the excitement, the boys’ choices are not mom’s choices.

Another drama: one of the mother is a racist to the core. She doesn’t want any color-skinned girl for his boy. I cannot believe it that such human still exist. I don’t know if she’s just hired by the producers to act like that to add spice to the show or what, but darn she makes herself a good villain. She wants her daugher in law to be white,  catholic, and do whatever she says; it’s insanity. Go marry your own son!  😛 The other moms are okay, but of course, they’re not happy with their sons’ choices. One of the mom is already in love with a girl and keeps on pushing the girl to his son 😆

Anyways, I don’t really watch the whole full hour of the show because I keep on switching the channels. Not sure if I’m going to watch it again; I might if I really don’t have anything to do. But I’m sure this show appeals to broad audience. If you’re interested in watching it, go to NBC.com, I’m sure that they have the first few episodes of the show uploaded there.
