As I said on my previous post, NBC is still mum about the fate of Chuck. But after watching the finale, and seeing how other fans’ reaction, I’m hopeful that we’ll see more Chuck Bartowski in the future. Even the creator, Josh Schwarts, has been preparing the storyline for season 3 (click here to read more about this). UPDATE: All Chuck fans, rejoice for there will be high chance that you’ll see more Chuck in the future for at least 13 episodes. Please note that this information is not 100% confirmed until NBC releases official confirmation.

Just for fun, here’s some symptoms if you are a Chuckaholic (taken from Chuck forum):

  • You refer to Best Buy & Weinerschitzel as Buy More & Weinerlicious.
You have expanded your daily lingo to include Chuckisms such as “just sayin”, “awesome”, “intersect” to name of few…
  • You refer to co-workers as Lesters, Nerd Herders, or Chuck’s stable of Hoes…
  • You refer to your personal posse as “Team ‘your name’ “…

As for other shows, visit Nielsen’s Cancel/Renew index to see which of your shows are in the bubble. My thoughts to Nielsen, update your rating calculation system to integrate the rating of DVR-ed shows!

Next Monday is the finale of 2nd season of Chuck, and yet no news from NBC that they gave a green light for 3rd season. On my previous post, I wrote about shows that will or won’t get cancelled, and which ones are still undecided, and Chuck is one of them. I don’t want start ranting again because it’s not cancelled yet, but I write this post to gather all Chuck-mania to voice your opinion that we need more Chuck! Go to NBC.com/chuck and post on the forum, get your family/friends to watch the finale on Monday, April 27, 2009 on 8 pm EST.

Another blogger also had the same idea and he interviewed several Chuck-mania. Read his post here.

Last night’s Chuck: Sarah was pulled out from being Chuck’s handler because the general thought their feeling was too strong and could jeopardize the mission, which was partly true. So a new handler was assigned, Carla from Burn Notice (I don’t know her real name). She was cold and strict. In the beginning, she was only assigned to monitor Sarah & Chuck’s relationship, and she reported that it was endangering the mission causing Sarah to be fired. However, Chuck, reluctant to cooperate with his new handler, got into a trouble, as always, and only Sarah could led him out safely. In the end, the general admitted that their relationship could be beneficial after all.

New twist on the story, Chuck, with help from Sarah, got to find his father (his face remain unseen). On the next week’s preview, it seems like his father is also an agent, and probably on the wrong side. It’s going to be good, can’t wait for next week. As usual, if you miss this week’s episode, you can watch it online at nbc.com or hulu.com

Busy

Posted on: February 17, 2009

Been a litle busy since last weekend. I just had time to catch up with last week’s Burn Notice and Monk. Michael was still in the quest to find the person who wanted him dead, he didn’t get any info, but that guy (whoever he was) was alarmed when Mike was trying to poke around. I also just watched this week’s Chuck, where Chuck and Sarah had to pose as a married couple. Pretty funny, but in the end their relationship got a minor set back. Just in case you wonder where I watch the shows (no I don’t watch them from DVR), I watch them online at the network’s official website: NBC.com and USANetwork.com

On other news, Hulu Award will have official nominees for all categories hopefully by next week. I’ll post the list of all nominees (or perhaps the poll link from polldaddy) so you can vote 🙂 Speaking of polldaddy, I’ve had some ideas for poll on by blog for a while (before wordpress had the feature). Now that they have it, I can’t remember what I wanted to do with the poll 😆

In Chuck, his on-again girlfriend Jill turned out not to be innocent afterall. I can’t say I’m surprised though, I’ve suspected it actually that she had bigger role than to be Chuck’s ex girlfriend. My favorite moment of this episode: the conversation between Sarah and Chuck on the vent system (which got Jill the wrong idea) 😆

On My Own Worst Enemy, Henry was suspecting if his wife Angie was another spy. Turned out she wasn’t, but she did have something that she’d kept secret from Henry: she met her ex. On the other hand, Edward continued his relationship with Dr. Skinner, and in the end of the episode he found what he’d been looking for: his past, the truth about his parents. We’ll have to wait until next week to find out what it is.

Darn it, I think My Own Worst Enemy’s story is getting better and better but it still got cancelled. NBC executives, are you blind? Do you even watch the show? I bet they “watch” the show by watching the ratings. Lame.

First of all, I’m going to talk about what was on TV on Monday. I came home really late on Monday, so I missed everything that I wanted to watch. Luckily, NBC has all the things that I missed (Chuck and My Own Worst Enemy). I’m so glad that many official TV websites are providing online full episodes of their shows, so for people who don’t have tv or dvr wouldn’t miss a thing.

Anyways, Chuck met his old girlfriend, Jill, who dumped him and hooked up with Bryce. After catching up and doing some “saving the world” action together, they ended up reconsiled their old romance. I don’t think they’re going to last though, I bet Chuck is going to end up with Sarah (she’s way hotter :P). My favorite moment on this episode was when Chuck tried to give antidote mouth-to-mouth to Casey. Casey begged, “I’ve served my country for many years, just let me die in dignity.” 😆

On other show, My Own Worst Enemy, as seen on last episode, Tom’s wife hired a private investigator to follow him, and found out that Tom had another life (Raymond’s life). Poor Tom, not knowing anything about it, his marriage crashed and burned. On the other hand, Henry revealed that he was broken to a watcher (who told him he was an FBI agent). Norah Skinner, Henry’s psychiatrist on AJ Sun rescued him by shooting the watcher. This caused Janus to be aware that there was a broken agent, and Henry/Edward was suspected. But Norah saved Henry/Edward out of the problem by sacrificing another agent Paula/Ellen. Paula/Ellen was then terminated as an agent, Paula memory was erased and she countinued to live as Ellen, non-agent identity. I’m not sure what’s the motive for Norah for saving Edward/Henry, as for now, I think she has a crush on Edward. From next week’s trailer, it looks like Henry’s wife, Angie, might not be a normal civilian either. Hmm… it’s going to be good.

Well, speaking of tv shows, there’s a poll on TVSquad on the best new show this fall: Fringe, The Mentalist, Priviledged, Worst Week, Gary Unmarried, My Own Worst Enemy, 90210, and Eleventh Hour. So far, the first three are the top 3. But people also voted on others (Life on Mars, True Blood, etc). What do you think is the best tv show this season?

Youtube has been down for more than one hour. This afternoon when I visited it, it has an announcement that it’s going to have a maintenance. But usually the website keeps on running during maintenance, just a little slower. I’m not sure what’s going on, but I’m sure that it’s going to be alright by tomorrow.

Anyway, I’m watching Chuck, where Chuck got to know a little bit about Sarah’s background. Apparently she was not a popular girl in high school by a name Jennifer Burton. Anyways, the bad girl this time is Jennifer’s nemesis from high school who married a nerd just to get his technology. She said Sarah should’ve known from the start that she would never marry a nerd if it weren’t for something. I think Sarah and Chuck beg to differ 😛 Anyways, the girl that play the villian this time is Nicole Richie. I’ve seen her face once or twice somewhere.

So after this is Heroes, and then new episode of My Own Worst Enemy (the one that I’m really looking forward to watch). I might or might not write another post after I watch those two shows, we’ll see.
