Finales

Posted on: May 5, 2009

Summer is coming, and so does Summer TV shows. But I’m not talking about Summer TV Shows, that’s another post. This means that a lot of TV Shows are having their finales this week. Here’s a list of finales compiled by Yahoo! TV:

  • Medium – season 5 finale airs Monday, 5/4 at 9pm ET on NBC
  • Scrubs – season 8 finale airs Wednesday, 5/6 at 8pm ET on ABC
  • House – season 5 finale airs Monday, 5/11 at 8pm ET on FOX

  • 24 – season 7 finale airs Monday, 5/18 at 8pm ET on FOX
  • NCIS – season 6 finale airs Tuesday, 5/19 at 8pm ET on CBS

I love finales, because they’re usually the most shocking episodes. If you would like a little spoiler for your show’s finale, read it up on Yahoo! TV.

Not only the scripted shows are having their finales, but our favorite reality shows are also having their finales. Here’s the schedule:

  • The Amazing Race – season 14 finale airs Sunday, 5/10 at 8pm ET on CBS
  • Celebrity Apprentice – Live season 8 finale airs Sunday, 5/10 at 8pm ET on NBC
  • The Biggest Loser – season 7 finale airs Tuesday, 5/12 at 8pm ET on NBC
  • Hell’s Kitchen – season 5 finale airs Thursday, 5/14 at 9pm ET on FOX
  • Dancing With the Stars – season 8 finale airs Tuesday, 5/19 at 9pm ET on ABC
  • American Idol – season 5 finale airs Wednesday, 5/20 at 8pm ET on FOX

Of course there are more shows having finales other than this list, but I don’ t have information on them. So if you have any info that you’d like me to add to this list, let me know 🙂

Just had the time to blog about the first episode of Celebrity Apprentice. As usual the players were divided into 2 teams: Men & Women. The women’s team went under the name of Athena, whereas the guys went under KOTU (King of The Universe). Click here to see the casts.

This time, the battle of the sexes was selling cupcakes. I didn’t remember the detail, but as always there were bickerings, the usual drama. In the end, the women team raised the most money and won, and Andrew Dice Clay from KOTU was fired.

There’s 1 more show that’s going to be added to my sunday-tv list: The Celebrity Apprentice. When I found out that it was on Sundays, I was afraid that the time slot would clash with The Amazing Race. If it happened, I wouldn’t know which one I would choose to watch live. If you know me, you’d know that I’d rather watch 1 full show and watch the other later online, instead of switching channels like crazy. Hmm…maybe I will choose Amazing Race over The Apprentice because there will be more drama in the Apprentice (not really a fan of bickering).

Anyway, I don’t have to choose now. I was so happy when I found out that The Apprentice will air at 9 pm EST, just right after the Amazing Race.

For The Apprentice fans, good news! All new season of Celebrity Apprentice is back on NBC. It will premier on Sunday, March 1, 2009 at 9 pm EST, so mark your calendar. I can’t wait to see the celebrities (I use the term loosely) being asked to work and bossed around by Trump. I hope there won’t be too much drama, but who am I kidding 😆

Anyway, here’s the list of celebrities that will be on the show:

The men: Clint Black, Andrew Dice Clay, Tom Green, Scott Hamilton, Jesse James, Brian McKnight, Dennis Rodman, and Herschel Walker.

The women: Annie Duke, Natalie Gulbis, Claudia Jordan, Khloe Kardashian, Joan Rivers, Melissa Rivers, Brande Roderick and Tionne Watkins.
