The last leg of the race of this season took place in Maui, Hawaii. All teams boarded to the same flight to Maui. Then they had to race to beach number 118, and prepared a luau. They had to season a whole pig, and carry it. Margie is so strong, she and Luke surpassed the other two teams who had trouble. Tammy and Cara were struggling carrying the heavy pig; both Victor and Jamie pushed their teammates hard to finish the task. Margie & Luke finished the task first and they went to the next destination.

The next task, they had to jet ski to an area where there are a hundred of red plastic floats on the see, and find their next clue. While Margie & Luke were on their way back, they met up with Tammy & Victor, who were followed by Jamie & Cara, but Jamie & Cara found their clue first, so they became 2nd, but Tammy & Victor catched up with them fast. On their way to their next destination, Tammy & Victor got stuck on the back of a slow jeep, while Jamie & Cara got lost. Again, due to frustration, Jamie took it out on the taxi driver.

Their next task was a road block, one member of the team must find and arrange surf boards that had pictures of their previous tasks. Luke had a great memory, but he got stuck on the last 2 boards, while Victor came and catched up with him. Jamie came last, and in first she had no idea what to do, but she figured it out, while Luke still stuck on the 11th and 12th boards. Finally, Victor finished first, and he and Tammy went to the pitstop to claim their prize. While, Margie suggested Luke to work with Jamie so they finally could finish the task.

So, Tammy & Victor won the race, Jamie & Cara runner up, and Margie & Luke 2nd runner up. The final race was pretty close and tight. I’m glad Tammy & Victor won, I think they’re a strong team, and I’ve been supporting them and Margie & Luke from the beginning.

This week’s episode is still the same leg of race as last week. Even though Jamie & Cara got to meet Phil first, but the race wasn’t over, so they headed off. Margie & Luke arrived 2nd, and Tammy & Victor 3rd, Kisha & Jen last. Their next task was to find a Travelocity gnome. Margie & Luke found the gnome fast, followed by Jamie & Cara, Tammy & Victor and Jen & Kisha. Then the teams must head to find their next clue box, and they got to ride electric scooters. It seems fun 🙂

Their next task was a detour: Chinese waiter or Beijing Opera. All teams but Tammy & Victor chose Beijing Opera because Chinese Waiter required a good understanding of Chinese. Jen & Kisha who passed Margie & Luke on scooter, finished dressing each other, while Luke was having trouble with make up. Jamie & Cara got lost on their way to Beijing Opera and were getting frustrated because they couldn’t find taxi to take them to the right location. Meanwhile, even though Tammy & Victor could speak chinese, they got the first menu wrong so they had to get the right orders. But they swam through the task fast, and they were off to their next task, a road block, where one of them (Victor) had to eat fried grasshopper, starfish, larvae, and other stuff.

The Beijing Opera team had trouble locating their next clue box, and they were struggling getting people to help them because of language barrier. Margie & Luke finally found a nice girl who took them, and Jen & Kisha finally found the clue box, but they were U-Turned by Tammy & Victor so they had to do Chinese waiter. Of course, Jen & Kisha had trouble with the order because Chinese language is very tedious.  I even found it a miracle, and I suspect the chef was being lenient, that they completed the task. 😆 Meanwhile, Jamie & Cara were getting frustrated again because they couldn’t find anyone that could help them to point to the right direction.

So Tammy & Victor got to pitstop 1st, followed by Margie & Luke. So the race was between Jamie & Cara and Kisha & Jen. Jen was struggling eatting the “delicasy,” while Cara ate it really fast. Jen & Kisha finished the task first, but Jamie & Cara was a step behind them. So the race was determined by their taxi drivers. And because Jen drank so much water to help her swallow the food, she went to pee first before checking in to Phil, and that cost her team the spot on the final 3. Despite their feud with Margie & Luke, I like them better than Jamie & Cara, who are just plain rude. Oh well, so the final 3 teams are: Tammy & Victor, Margie & Luke, and Jamie & Cara. Don’t miss the final next week on CBS. You can also watch the previous episodes at CBS.com

This week the race was still in China, but this time, in Beijing. All teams got to the same flight to Beijing, but Tammy & Victor had the upper hand of having the front row seats, so they got a head start on Beijing Airport. However, just like last week, their fluency in Mandarin didn’t help when the taxi driver didn’t know the location of the next clue. Jamie & Cara got to the first location followed by Jen & Kisha.

The first task: a road block, a team member had to be foot-massaged, but it’s not any foot massage, but a therapudic one, and it hurt, a lot! They had to withstand 10 minutes of pain or they would have to restart the task. Then, they had to head to notorium. Jamie & Cara and Jen & Kisha who finished 1st and 2nd had trouble finding taxi who knew the location of their next destination. Jen & Kisha finally found a taxi driver who could take them, Jamie & Cara left frustrated. Tammy & Victor catched up, and they talked with a taxi driver in Mandarin, but Jamie & Cara took the cab away, how rude. Fortunately, they didn’t know that they had to go to the south gate so Tammy & Victor got to the notorium first.

Next task, a detour: Sync or Swim. Both siblings team who arrived there first chose Sync because they couldn’t swim; but they were having so much trouble that Jamie & Cara and Margie & Luke who chose Swim finished the task before them. Jen who bailed before attempting first jump, went to Swim with Kisha, but they failed miserably so they switched back to Sync, where Tammy & Victor were still struggling, and in the end, Tammy & Victor then chose to do Swim. Meanwhile, Jen, who was afraid of water, was reaching her breaking point and she broke down. In the end, after Victor & Tammy finished swimming, they chose to do Swim too. Victor’s feet hurt so much that it cost them some time, but they were still ahead from Jen & Kisha

So Jamie & Cara finally got to pitstop first, but, the race wasn’t over! All the teams were so exhausted, and Victor’s feet were cramping, I don’t know what’s going to happen next week, but it’s gonna be good 🙂

This week the race moved to China; the teams must head to Qui Lin. Margie & Luke, who won the last leg, got on the first connecting flight to Guang Zhou. Jamie & Cara and Tammy & Victor, went on the 2nd flight and they met up on Guang Zhou airport. But their flight to Qui Lin was delayed, so that Jen & Kisha who left Bangkok 4th, arrived at Qui Lin 1st.

However, Jen & Kisha got lost when looking for their next clue, causing the other 3 teams to catch up to them. Even though Tammy & Victor can speak Mandarin, it didn’t really help when their taxi driver didn’t know the location well, but in the end, they found their clue, followed by Jamie & Cara. The other 2 teams got to the first clue almost at the same time, and Luke and Jen clashed trying to get the clue first. Jen couldn’t help but call Luke “bitch” which pretty much started this week’s drama. The clue told teams to head to #24 bridge for their next task, a road block: one member of the team must train their birds to catch fish from the river.

The fight continued on #24 bridge’s clue box, where Jen & Luke had physical pushing and pulling. Jamie & Cara team’s bird were more cooperative, so they finished the task first. Tammy’s birds were less cooperative causing her to be beaten by Jen. Margie and Tammy finished 3rd and 4th. On the other hand, Mark & Mike left last from Bangkok, and they had speed bump on the first location where they had to wash some elderly’s hair. They finished the task fast, but they were left way behind.

The next task was a detour: Choreography or Calligraphy. On Choreography, the team must learn a dance, and perform it in front of the judge, Jamie & Cara chose this option. They picked up the choreography fast, but they made some mistakes causing them unable to complete the task, and it frustrated them. Even though Tammy & Victor arrived last, but because of their fluency in Mandarin, they led the other teams from one location to another. Those 3 teams basically stayed together and arrived to the pitshop almost the same time. Kisha & Jen won the foot race to the pitstop, Tammy & Victor 2nd, and Margie & Luke 3rd. On the pitstop, the fight heated up again in front of Phil.

Jamie & Cara finally passed their dancing task, and they became the 4th team to arrive at the pitstop. Mark & Michael who also chose Choreography, finished last and were eliminated from the game. If you miss this episode or you want to watch Luke & Jen showdown, you can watch it online at CBS.com

This week’s race was still in Thailand, but they moved to Bangkok, the capital. All teams boarded the same flight to Bangkok, and Margie & Luke led the race since they left the airport. The first task was to go to a boat dock, where one of the team members had to attach propeller for their boat. Margie did the task fast, followed by Jamie. Victor & Tammy who arrived to the dock third, had trouble fixing the propeller, making them the last team to finish the task. However, both Mark & Michael and Jen & Kisha left their baggages on the dock and their taxis. And this cost them a lot of time.

The next task was a detour: Broken Teeth or Broken Record. Only Margie & Luke chose to do the Broken Teeth where they had to find 5 elderlies their matching teeth. While Luke had trouble doing the task, Margie sailed through the task and they completed the task fast. The rest of the teams chose to do the Broken Record where they had to sing Karaoke inside a taxi with 3 local girls. After finishing the road block, the teams headed to the pitstop.

Margie & Luke won this leg, Jamie & Cara second. Kisha & Jen, despite leaving their travel documents, decided to go to pitstop and raced with Tammy & Victor. Kisha & Jen arrived third, but Phil said that they had to fetch their documents before he could check them in, so Tammy & Victor became the 3rd team to check in. Mark & Michael, who also left their baggages at the dock, despite arguing, they decided to get their documents first before doing their detour. So the race for the 4th spot was between the siblings and the stuntmen. Both of them found their taxi drivers still waiting for them, so they got their belongings back.

Mark & Michael arrived at the pitstop before Jen & Kisha arrived, but due to some violation of race rules (they paid their cab with items), they got 4 hour penalty. So Jen & Kisha were safe, but so were Mark & Michael. This week wasn’t an elimination leg, but Phil gave them a major bad news, not only they would have a Speed Bump next week, but they would also be penalized on their starting time. So we’ll see if they can overcome those obstacles and stay in the competition next week. From the preview, looks like next week Luke and Jen are going to have a fight

Well, there was no new Amazing Race episode last night. Just in case you were wondering, there was Country Music Award instead. It was a good thing too though because I couldn’t be in front of TV last night. New episode should be back next week, same time, same channel. See you then 🙂

This week’s race was in Thailand, all teams boarded to the same flight to Phuket. Michael & Mark who were last team on the last leg, dashed so fast they led the race. They were given a clue, a picture of a gorilla, which was on Phuket Zoo where they would find their next clue. Only Mel & Mike got lost, their taxi driver drove them to beach so they lost a lot of time.

On the zoo, they had to take a picture with a tiger and perform with an elephant. Then they had to go to a herb store, where they had to guess which 6 of 99 drawers had the next clue. Jamie & Cara went to the herb store first, but they kept on guessing the wrong drawer, they became the last (except Mel & Mike) to finish the task. This challenge really brought up the bad side of the girls. Frustrated, they became a little rude to the old man.

The next leg was a detour: 100 barrels or 2 miles. Mark & Michael and Tammy & Victor chose 2 miles, whereas Jen & Kisha, Margie & Luke, and Jamie & Cara chose 100 barrels. But, because they got lost, Jamie & Cara followed by Margie & Luke switched to 2 miles. Mark & Michael who got there first, tried to slow down the other teams by putting the tools on the box. Then they hired a taxi driver to lead them to their destination. Therefore, even though they arrived to the pitstop first, they were given 60 minutes penalty.

Tammy & Victor and Jamie & Cara were the 2nd and 3rd team to arrive at the pitstop, but they arrived before Mark & Michael’s penalty was over, so they became 1st and 2nd team. Margie & Luke became the 4th team to arrive. Jen & Kisha did the detour slow so that Mel & Mike could catch up with them. So it was a race between them. Jen & Kisha finished first, but at usual, they got lost. In the end, they still managed to arrive at the pitstop first, so Mel & Mike were eliminated.

As expected, this week the leg moved to Asia. First destination in Asia: India. The teams must fly to Jaipur, India and all of them made it to the same flight. Victor and Tammy were victorious in this leg; they left the other teams behind since they left Jaipur airport. First task was to find a Sacred Tree, and the clue there wasn’t usual: it was a rex telephone. Victor & Tammy spotted the phone right away, and zoomed to the next task. By the time left the tree, the other teams were just arriving. The other teams spent sometime before realizing the phone was the clue, but once one of them realized it, everyone got it.

The second task was a road block, one of the members had to care a herd of Maharaja camels by carrying hay and water. By the time the other teams arrive, Victor was halfway of the task. Mel & Margie made a bad call, their sons would do the task better because of their stamina. It was apparent that Mel was very struggling with the task. Luckily, he spotted the baskets, in which they were supposed to carry the hay with, so he sped through the task and become the 2nd team to finish the task.

The third task was a detour: Mover or Shaker. Almost all teams chose Shaker, where they had to dance in fake horse costumes and ask for donations. Once they got 100 rupee, they completed the task. Only 1 team chose mover, and it was Mark & Michael. On Mover, they had to ride a bicycle loaded with drums filled with hay. Once they reached their destination, they must unload the drums and find a small elephant among the hay. The last part took them a while, while other teams already finished shaking, they were still stuck there. The only team they were racing with were Christie & Jodi. They were already behind since they left Jaipur Airport, and they also had to a speed bump, where they had to paint an elephant, but they finished Shaker task quite fast.

So in the end, Tammy & Victor became the 1st team to arrive at the pitstop, no surprise there. Mike & Mel become 2nd, Kisha & Jen, Margie & Luke, and Jamie & Cara 3rd-5th. So it was a race between the stuntmen and the flight attendance. In the end, Mark & Mike beat Christie & Jodi. Next week: Race in Thailand! Stay tuned.

This week on Amazing Race, the teams were still competing in Russia. I’m pretty sure that they’re gonna go to Asia next week. Anyways, the teams had to take an overnight Trans Siberian train, and all the teams got into the same train, so the lead from next week was pretty much wasted. Christie & Jodi who won last leg, became the last team to finish this leg. I’ll elaborate more on how that happened.

Since every team was on the same train, so basically the race started when the train stopped. Everyone dashed like crazy to find taxi. Jen & Kisha who wanted to follow the pack, went to the other side of the station, so they were left behind. Their next task was a detour: Russian Bride or Russian Snowplow, which on both the teams had to drive a stick car. On Russian Bride, the team had to find a bride and deliver her to her groom at church. On Russian Snowplow, they had to be trained in operating the snowplough.

Margie & Luke and Jamie & Cara had been alliance for a while. Jamie & Cara let Margie & Luke followed their taxi so they could go together. Victor & Tammy were tailing them, and they decided to work together with them in doing the Snowplow detour. Since they had to drive themselves to the location, none of them had any clue. They had to stop and ask for directions. After getting direction for himself, Victor decided to leave the 2 teams, but because of traffic, it didn’t work. Instead he made the other 2 teams pissed and they don’t trust his team anymore. In the end, Margie & Luke become the first team to arrive at the pitstop, Tammy & Victor 2nd, and Jamie & Cara 3rd.

The next batch were Mel & Mike and Mark & Michael. Mark & Michael did the snowplough, whereas Mel & Mike and the last 2 teams did the Bride. Jen had trouble driving stick car, whereas Christie & Jodi kept on getting lost. After finishing the road block, where one of the team member had to run marathon in their undies, Jen & Kisha became the 6th team to arrive, leaving Christie & Jodie to be the last. Luckily this leg of the race wasn’t an elimination leg, so they were safe, but they’ll have speed bump next week.
