17 years is a long span of time, hence an era, for someone to be on TV 5 nights a week. Jay Leno finally decided to step down, 1.5 hour earlier, to prime time. As for the guest on his last late night show, who else is better than his own successor, Conan O’Brien. A lot of people have been debating whether or not this is a smart move – for both NBC and Jay. But as far as I’m concerned, I don’t have any objection about it. FOX and CW have taken their 10 pm prime time slot for News, why can’t NBC use their 10 pm prime time for talk show?

Anyways, Yahoo! TV has writen a page for the most memorable moments of the show. While we wait until September, don’t forget to watch Conan’s first week on Tonight Show 🙂

The beautiful Reese Witherspoon visited The Ellen Show, and Ellen helped her writing the acceptance speech for Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Award. Using Mad Libs, Ellen “wrote” an acceptance speech 😆 and Reese said that Amazing Race is her favorite show! I embed the clip below, enjoy 🙂

Update: Some people said that they can’t view the clip. If you can’t see the clip, click here to watch it at ellentv.com

Yesterday I wrote a post about new season of Burn Notice (June 4, 9 pm EST). Today, I’m going to write another good news related to Burn Notice. It’s a sweepstakes, but this time, the grand prize isn’t a Saab, but a 4-days-3night trip for the winner and a guest to Miami! Moreover, the winner will get round trip tickets and accomodations, and Burn Notice Tour! The Sweepstakes will start on 5/21/09 and end on 8/12/09. And, they’ll also giving out weekly prizes, like Burn Notice Tote, Burn Notice DVD, and some other stuff.

All you have to do, is fill in a form weekly, and then pray 😆 Although, I do like the Saab sweepstakes (because there are games involved), but this one is much simpler and more straight forward. Anyways, here’s the link to enter the sweepstakes. To read more about the sweepstakes, click here for the official rules. Good luck 🙂

Another Summer is coming, and so is 3rd season of Burn Notice! For those of you who don’t know, Burn Notice new season will air on different time this season 9/8 pm EST. So set your alarm clock/calendar reminder and tune in to USA Network, June 4, 2009.

Update: Another good news. Despite the rumor that Burn Notice would not be shot in Miami anymore, they’re staying in Miami. The studio where stars and crews have called home was almost put up for sale, and the show was almost evicted from Miami. But no worries, those people in the officies in South Florida know how much exposure Burn Notice brought to their cities. It’s like a free tourism advertisement. Fox has announced that other that new season of So You Think You Can Dance that will start tomorrow, they’ll have another new season on Fall! For Dance show lovers, this year is your good year. In the beginning of the year, there was Superstars of Dance, then new season of Dancing with the Stars (which crowned Shawn Johnson on the finale last night), Summer’s SYTYCD starting tomorrow on Fox, then both Dancing with the Stars and SYTYCD on Fall! It can’t get any better 🙂 By the way, if you are interested in auditioning for Fall’s SYTYCD, check out the open call schedule at fox.com/dance

  • Amazing Race: Tammy & Victor
  • Biggest Loser: Helen
  • Survivor Tocantins: JT
  • Dancing with the Stars: Shawn Johnson
  • American Idol: Kris Allen

Stay tuned as I’ll update this post when more winners are announced.

Summer is drawing near, and that means Summer TV Shows are coming too! I always like summer tv shows because  they’re not heavy on drama, most of them even reality shows (I know i’m a reality-junkie). Anyways, from the information that I can gather so far, here’s the list of Summer TV Shows:

So far great line up, for NBC and ABC. Can’t wait for summer. I can’t find any info about new summer shows on CW, I guess they’ll just do reruns.

Just found an interesting article about Graphology, a study of people’s handwriting. Probably it might sound as hokey as Zodiac reading, but I find this one somewhat accurate, at least to me. I’ve also observed my friends’ handwriting and compare it, and so far it’s proven believable, although not 100% accurate. If you want to see what your handwriting says about your personality, read the article here. 🙂

The last leg of the race of this season took place in Maui, Hawaii. All teams boarded to the same flight to Maui. Then they had to race to beach number 118, and prepared a luau. They had to season a whole pig, and carry it. Margie is so strong, she and Luke surpassed the other two teams who had trouble. Tammy and Cara were struggling carrying the heavy pig; both Victor and Jamie pushed their teammates hard to finish the task. Margie & Luke finished the task first and they went to the next destination.

The next task, they had to jet ski to an area where there are a hundred of red plastic floats on the see, and find their next clue. While Margie & Luke were on their way back, they met up with Tammy & Victor, who were followed by Jamie & Cara, but Jamie & Cara found their clue first, so they became 2nd, but Tammy & Victor catched up with them fast. On their way to their next destination, Tammy & Victor got stuck on the back of a slow jeep, while Jamie & Cara got lost. Again, due to frustration, Jamie took it out on the taxi driver.

Their next task was a road block, one member of the team must find and arrange surf boards that had pictures of their previous tasks. Luke had a great memory, but he got stuck on the last 2 boards, while Victor came and catched up with him. Jamie came last, and in first she had no idea what to do, but she figured it out, while Luke still stuck on the 11th and 12th boards. Finally, Victor finished first, and he and Tammy went to the pitstop to claim their prize. While, Margie suggested Luke to work with Jamie so they finally could finish the task.

So, Tammy & Victor won the race, Jamie & Cara runner up, and Margie & Luke 2nd runner up. The final race was pretty close and tight. I’m glad Tammy & Victor won, I think they’re a strong team, and I’ve been supporting them and Margie & Luke from the beginning.
