When nominating on Hulu Award, I always come accross some of my favorite movies/tv shows. And on Best Cartoon Series, there are a couple: Family Guy, The Simpsons, and Futurama. Futurama is my all time favorite cartoon series, made by the same creator of The Simpsons. I even like it more than the first two, but it was cancelled on 2002 (boo!). I don’t have all the DVDs of every season (they had 5), but I used to watch it on Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. But now, they stopped playing it too šŸ˜” Anyways, if you’ve never heard of Futurama, rent the DVD. You won’t regret it šŸ™‚ Oh, in case you’re wondering, Futurama is about Fry, a guy who got frozen on the 20th century and wake up on 30th century. There he befriends a robot named Bender, and work as a delivery guy (w/ a spaceship) to his great-great-great nephew, who also happens to be a scientist.

Continuing the Hulu Award Nomination, this week’s theme is Family and Cartoons. There are 4 new and exiting categories this week and they are: Best Family Movie, Best Anime Series, Best Cartoon Series, and Best Animated Shorts. For cartoon and anime lovers, Iā€™m sure youā€™ll have your opinions on which series you think deserve an award. It might be tough to pick just one, but donā€™t worry you can nominate more than one. So comment away šŸ™‚ Again, Iā€™m using excerpt due to the long list of eligible nominees, especially we have the most nominees so far. Poor Olga

Posted on: July 2, 2008

Just finished watching both Wipeout and JGS (I survived a Japanese game show), hillarious as expected. Although the wipeout’s contestants on this week couldn’t break the time record of last week’s players on the last round. On JGS, I’m dissapointed that Olga was elimitated (not that I wanted Darcy to be elimitated either). I think Donell should’ve listened to Olga and put Meaghan and Mary to face off. Meaghan didĀ a poor jobĀ on the human-crane game because she was nervous and let the nerve and emotion consume her. And in my opinion, Olga is a stronger player than her. Olga and Donell are the loudest, but the strongest contender on Green Monkey team. Too bad the coalition is over now.

As usual, during break, I switch channels and see if there’s anything else interesting on TV. And I found out that TBS airs 2 hours of Family Guy. I was torn between watching the japanese game show or family guy. I had a thought to just watch family guy instead because I can watch JGS online at abc.go.com (like I did with The Mole). But I ended up watching more JGS because I was curious.
